Colorado School of Mines

Since August 2014, I have worked in Jeramy Zimmerman's lab as a graduate research assistant at the Colorado School of Mines. 2014 was also Dr. Zimmerman's first year at Mines, so I helped develop processes for fabricating and testing devices. I also designed and built many pieces of lab equipment from scratch, several of which you can take a look at in the Test Equipment section of this site.

My research focused on the influence of morphology on the photophysical properties of small-molecule organic semiconductors, specifically organic photovoltaics (OPVs) and organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).
